I've called Mount Sterling home for 20 years now, but before I moved here, I grew up in Morehead. I graduated from Morehead State University in 2001 with a business degree, but I took photography as my electives. I worked a full time job to put myself through college, and it was there that I met my husband, Jarrod. He is a Jeffersonville native. We stay really busy with my step-son's active baseball schedule - as we are super excited to watch him as he transitions into playing college baseball.  I was always taking photos of my step-son, and the passion grew from there.  I started doing any kind of photography anyone would let me.  Eventually, I settled into weddings and high school seniors - those are the things I enjoy the most.  I started investing a lot of time in more education in photography and workshops.

I am a major animal lover! I house 5 furbabies at the moment.  Max - our "oldest" - is a black and white cat with a lot of bite.  Hugo - my 3 pound Yorkie that thinks he is the largest of the group.  Ginger - a homeless dog in our neighborhood that took a lot of work to be comfortable around people.  Cooper - another homeless in our neighborhood - a black cat that hunts all the rabbits and birds near the house.  And Sam - another homeless white lab that just strolled into our garage one evening and never left.  Do you see a pattern here?  All the homeless animals know where to come!  And they have sure hit the lottery with me.  I make them homemade treats and give them endless hugs!

As parents, we know first hand that photos only become more precious with time and as small business owners, we take great pride in our work. It is our hope that the photographs we create for you will be passed down and enjoyed in your family for many generations to come.

Thank you to Stefani Donohew for my beautiful photos!
